Currently Crushing On: From the Sponsors

Every month I like to ask the sponsors a fun question so all of you can get to know them a bit better. This month I wanted to know what color they were crushing on....
Here's their answers

My color crush of the moment is blue like my top in the picture and also I am loving the coral colors that are popular right now. I just bought a new sweater that is coral colored and it is to die for! Wish I had a picture of to show you guys! :)

My color crush is CORAL. I can't get enough of it. Shirts, scarves, jewelry, pants... give it to me now!

My current color crush is blush!! {And those are some of my all time favorite flowers!} It's so beautiful and elegant and adds just that perfect touch of femininity.

Red! From red lipstick, to a red dress, to painting my nails, to the things that I've been knitting. I've definitely had a thing for red lately.

I would have to say my color crush at the moment is kind of a mixture! I've really been digging pastel pinks, minty greens, and blues. I suppose just pastels in general!

I've always loved polka dots, but anything grey with white polka dots is definitely my favorite. The combination is very vintage to me which is probably why it appeals to me so much. <3

Here are some links I found & adore!

Thanks for sharing girls!

Do you all have a current color crush?

Pretty in Pleats

Top: LC Lauren Conrad, Skirt: F21, Belt: Target, Heels: Steve Madden

I couldn't help but fall in love with this skirt...pleats, a pretty color, and a fishtail cut are all on my current love list. It's been the longest time since I've been shopping and when I saw this in the window, I knew it had to be the first thing I would buy myself. I'm out finishing up on errands today that I didn't get around to doing over the weekend so I figured this was the perfect outfit to make running around town all that much better.

Guest Post: Eryka from ABCDE

Hey everyone, today I have a guest post from the lovely Eryka. You should already know she's pretty awesome just by her name...I mean come on greatest name ever right? I have a busy packed weekend coming up but I hope you get to enjoy yours. I can't wait until next week to show you all a fun diy project but until then read more about Eryka's blog, I'm sure you're going to love her.

Hi Sea of Blooming Dreams readers! I am Eryka from ABCDE. The other Erica, you know the owner of this blog has so graciously let me take over for the day and tell you all about my blog! {Thanks Erica!}

I thought I would take this time to tell you all about my blog and some of the fun things I do over there. Is that ok? Ok, awesome!

First I wanna start with one of the most asked questions I get: "What does ABCDE stand for?!" Well, let me tell you. It's not just the first five letters in the alphabet it's my husbands plus my initials all mixed up. Pretty neat huh? Still confused? Don't worry, I'll explain right now. A {my middle name ANN} B {husbands middle name Bruce} C {our last name Clark} D {husbands name Daniel} E {my name Eryka}. Get it? Yeah, we think it's pretty awesome sauce!

Now that we got that out of the way...

My blog has really grown these last few months. I started my blog in 2008 and had no idea it would've reached the "blogger status" like it has. My blog has always been my outlet. The place where I can be me, and share my thoughts. That is something I have really worked at. You can read about why I blog here

On my blog I have a few weekly series I do:

On Wednesday is "Weekly Link up" with my blog BFF Ashley. We started it a few weeks ago and basically we pick a topic and then other bloggers can blog about it and link it up to our blogs. It's pretty awesome sauce!! Wanna see previous link ups? Click here. We would love if you linked up with us. Don't be shy!

Thursday is "Tumblr Love Day". What's that? Well, Tumblr is a site where you can browse pictures and post them to your own Tumblr. It is pretty awesome! Wanna see my Tumblr and other Tumblr Love Day posts? Click here

&& Friday is "Pinterest Love". You see I am a Pinterest-a-holic. I love Pinterest and spend way too much time on it. Don't we all? haha. You should follow me and let me know so I can return the favor!

As you see I love having a set schedule. It really helps me be in check with the whole blogging thing. Before I would feel so overwhelmed with what I should blog about. Since I have become what my husband calls a "Real blogger" I have learned that being organized, being yourself and having a schedule makes all the difference. Those are some very helpful tips to stay a float in the blogging world. Not that I am an expert or anything!

Before I go, I wanna thank Erica for letting me come over here today to tell you all about my blog! It was oh so fun over here! Hope you guys have a wonderful day and weekend! XOXO

Thanks so much Eryka!

When The Night Falls

The other night when the boyfriend took me out for dinner, I put this dress on. I've had it for about two years and have only worn it once so I thought it was about time to take it out for a night. I took the pics before heading out when the sunlight was almost gone...I think it fits the mood of the dress anyway with the dark twilight tones. Every time I take photos at the boyfriend's house, the cows always get a bit curious and want to know what I'm doing. I love this last photo of them, their eyes look a bit spooky right?

Eat Cake

Tee: Juicy Couture, Skirt: Thrifted, Heels: Steve Madden,
Belt (worn around wrist): Target, Ring: F21

This weekend on my only day off, I wanted to be able to be a bit relaxed so I put on one of my favorite tees. It reminds me of Marie Antoinette and the whole "let them eat cake" quote. I decided it was time to pull out this skirt again, it's the only way to make a tee feel all girly and fun. This weekend the boyfriend and I went on a spontaneous movie date to see This Means War...loved it and shared lots of pizza. Hope the weekend treated you well...here's to wishing you a great start to the week :)
Jellybean wanted to be around while taking photos

Electric Pop

Top: Bebe, Skirt: LC Lauren Conrad, Belt: Thrifted, Heels:Steve

It's been such a drab week and what's a better way to celebrate the weekend than with some fun bright colors that would compete with even the prettiest flowers popping up lately. I've been eyeing all those fun bright skinny jeans everyone has been wearing that I just haven't got the chance to go and get myself, so I figured I would just do it my way and throw on a skirt instead.  This morning when I went to get dressed, I searched my closet for some of my most fun bright colored items I could find. You can't go wrong with neon green, teal, and a pop of orange...it's a winner in my book.

Happy Weekend Dolls!

Unexpected Findings

Shirt: Target, Shorts: Express, Tights: Target, Boots: Charlotte Russe, Necklace: Made by me

This used to be one of my favorite shirts about two years ago. Over time I had forgotten about it until the other day when the boyfriend said, "hey, look what I found in my closet". All this time, it had been hiding in the dark corners of his closet...really? Why had I never thought to search his closet for clothes I couldn't find at home? By the way, I actually found two other shirts I had believed to be gone for good stashed away with the stuff he no longer wears anymore. Anyway I'm happy it's back where it belongs...with me :)

If You Want Something Do It Yourself: Wrap Bracelet

I bought a bunch of zippers a few years ago in hopes of using them for some kind of project. I put them away and sort of just forgot about them until this weekend. It's been raining a lot the past few days keeping me indoors so I decided to be a bit crafty and made this bracelet. I liked the look of the teeth as an edging so I ripped the zipper apart and because I always love something a bit embellished, I added these studs to it. If you want one too, here's how to do it yourself.

1. Push stud through center of zipper
2. Place each stud about an inch apart, I started from the center and worked my way out
3. Place string on zipper and glue down in the middle for both sides
4. Glue down edge of zipper to wrap around string for both sides
5. On one side cut the string shorter & make a loop by creating a knot and glue the ends of the string together. The other side will tie through into a bow.
That's it, your bracelet is ready to wear!

Hope you enjoyed this.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Dress: Thrifted, Heels: Steve Madden, Belt: Target, Flower Pin: Self Made

Happy Valentines Day! Hope you all get to spend your day with someone you love whether it family, friends, or your boyfriend/girlfriend. I get to work today and then be at school all night so the boyfriend and I celebrated this weekend. We went to a Valentine's dance and had so much fun dancing the night away.

Sending you lots of love today xoxo

It's almost hard to believe that I haven't bought myself anything new since the year started. Over the past few weeks I've been adding a few things to my wishlist.

Here's what I want

1. Pastel skinny jeans: I really love the lavender color
2. A neon bag: I think they add a fun pop to any outfit
3. Rings with lucky charms: I used to search for four leaf clovers when I was a kid so I've been looking for a cute one to wear on my finger, besides I need all the luck I can get.
4. Shoes with fun details: I've secretly been swooning over these polka dot mary janes
5. Sweet dresses with animal prints like birds, horses, and cats.

Feeling the Chill

Cardigan: Thrifted, Top: Target, Skirt: Rue 21, Belt: Target, Boots: Charlotte Russe

Hey everyone, So I skipped yesterday's blog post...I haven't done that in a long time now. While taking photos for my last outfit post, my camera fell and broke. My camera had been a gift from the boyfriend a few years ago and when I told him it was broken, he was quick to tell me not to worry, I could use his. Gosh am I ever so thankful for him and that he knows how important this little blog is to me. It was just a bit colder than usual today, I guess that groundhog was right.
It's back to tights, cardigans, and boots for now :)
