July Sponsor Question of the Month

Every month I like to ask the sponsors a fun question so all of you can get to know them a bit better.
After seeing Magic Mike earlier this month and thinking of all those hot men, I just had to know who was on their celebrity crush list. I think it's safe to say that Rachel, Tiffany, and I definetly have a case of the J's lol. Check out what we had to say.

Rachel from Daydream Freenzy

Oh gosh, it's so hard to narrow all of Hollywood's hunks to just a few, but I definitely have a top three! My third would have to be Joseph Gordon-Levitt, mainly for his role in 500 Days of Summer. He is just the epitome of cuteness! My #2 is James Franco! Not only is he good-looking, but he's hilarious! And I'll be super surprised if I'm the only one to have this guy for my top pick, but my #1 has always been and will always be Johnny Depp. I mean, c'mon!! Look at him! The man only gets better with age. :)

Tiffany from beijos Tiffany

My celebrity crushes have to be Joe  Manganiello and Jake Gyllenhaal. Love manly men :)

My List and a pic of Jerry Horton from the last time I saw him.
James Franco has always been on my list, I think it has something to do with that gorgeous smile of his...melts my heart everytime I see it. Now these next two guys are definitely fighting for my number 1 spot. Jerry Horton from Papa Roach (my favorite band), I think he's the first guy with long hair and tattoos to grab my attention...seriously the last time I saw him play, I  blew him a kiss. Crazy right? Everytime we see Papa Roach, Chris already knows we have to sit on Jerry's side. And of course, Justin Timberlake is on the top of my list as well. He's just so talented and extremely funny...I've had a crush on him ever since the good old Nysnc days.

So now I want to know from you.
What Hollywood hottie makes your heart race?

Simple Date Night Details

Dress: Target, Belt: Forever 21, Heels: LC Lauren Conrad

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend. I definitely got to get some much needed relaxation. I just wanted to share a little dinner date night outfit with you all.  I've worn this dress quite a few times...for awhile it was one of my favorites. Chris and I weren't planning on going out to dinner that night but when his brother invited us out, this was the perfect thing to throw on quickly while still feeling dressed up. I love all of it's simplicity with it's pretty details like the plum color and ruffled sleeves, oh and adding a cute belt doesn't hurt either. It originally came with a belt that would tie around but I've always thought it to be a bit more fun to add one that was more interesting. I used to wear my gold glitter belt all the time but this bow belt has to be on the top of my list right now. I love how it completely gives the dress a more girly feel. Do you have a favorite accessory at the moment?

Here's to a happy start to your week!

Hey There Stud

Shirt: DIY Arizona, Shorts: Express, Boots: Charlotte Russe

Lately I've been obsessed with studs. I founded a studded belt at the thrift store and pretty much wanted to stud everything. I ended up adding them to this button up, I think it gives it a fun shoulder detail and love that it gives it a bit of edge. Oh yeah what do you think of me as a brunette? I'm still adjusting but in the sun you can still see a hint of red, so I'm happy with it for now.

Also Congrats to Jessica from JessicaWho. You won the ad space giveaway!!
I'll be sending you an email shortly.

Bye Bye Redhead

Top: Thrifted, Skirt: Thrifted, Wedges: Thrifted Aldo

This may be the last time you see me with my hair this color...sad but true.  I was a bit stunned when the idea of having a more natural color was hinted towards me. My hair isn't a natural hair color? It almost felt like one of the America's Next Top Model makeover moments when they tell the girl with the beautiful long hair that they are going to cut it all off.  I'm thinking maybe I should do a light brown for now and if all else fails it will be easier to go back to red if my plans fall through. Anyway moving on to better things, I'm wearing this skirt again...a long lost forgotten favorite. Oh and I mixed it  with a new favorite...over the top polka dots.

Hope you all have a Happy Weekend! See you Monday as a brunette.

Over the Weekend

This past weekend Chris' brother and dad had a birthday party at the house. They share the same birthday which is pretty cool right? It was all kinds of fun and if you follow me on instagram you know that the party didn't stop until about 8 in the morning. Most of my night was spent on the dance floor (the dj stayed till 6 in the morning) or taking photos of everyone else at the party. This was my first time really wearing something neon and I felt like I was glowing the entire night especially under those blue lights.

A New Look

It's been raining off and on all week long and it seemed like every time I wanted to pull out the camera and take a few shots, it started to pour. Lucky you that I didn't get to take any photos of my concert outfit because now you get to see something a bit special. When Chris first started taking photos of me, he kept saying how he wanted to do a shoot with me wearing a country look. Well a few weeks back, I gave in and let him have some fun behind the camera. I've only dressed up like this once...maybe twice when Chris and I have gone out to a country dance. So enjoy it, this doesn't happen often.

Hope you all have a Happy Weekend!

If You Want Something Do It Yourself: Floral Crown

I know we've all seen these floral crowns done just about everywhere but I wanted to show you my version of making one. Or maybe you've been wanting to do it and just haven't yet so hopefully this inspires you to let your inner flower wild child come out.

Here's how to do it yourself:

Measure the floral wire around your head and glue ends together to make a halo.
I decided to go with the brown floral wire because I thought it looked more natural.

Cut your floral pieces

Start to glue your flowers where the ends of your floral wire meet.

I used the purple flowers that were more vine like. I wanted them to lay flat on the wire so I used leaves from some of the other floral pieces to hold them down.

All done! Now go run barefoot in a field full of flowers or something like that.

Just a Few Pics From My Fourth...

I know these are just a tad bit late but you don't mind, right? I felt quite festive all day in these shorts...they really are such fun to wear.  Chris made some delicious burgers that day, he's always experimenting with different ways to make burgers and changing up the flavor and these didn't disappoint.  We played a bit of  beer pong...couple against couple and of course you know Chris and I were the champs...we're pretty awesome like that. The night was spent popping fireworks and having fun with sparklers...Chris bought me so many, I still have quite a bit left over. All in all it was really just a great day spent relaxing and having fun.
