Tank: Thrifted, Dress: Thrifted, Belt: Gift, Heels: Steve Madden, Accessories: F21
I've always liked the whole fishtail skirt trend and have been meaning to update an old thrifted skirt for some time now. When I found this beige dress hidden in the back of my old closet, I knew it would be the perfect candidate. The only thing is, I just didn't feel like cutting and sewing yesterday...so yes it's true. Sometimes I fake it. I just pulled up the hem to get the look I wanted, belted it, and went along with my day...which was spent at Starbucks and running errands before working out. I didn't have to go to work or school, so I was a happy girl :)
So tell me, Do you ever fake it?
Oh don't forget to enter the giveaway if you want a Valentine gift from me xo

Wow, your skirt looks really amazing, I love it! I tend to do the same thing. I usually wear European size 38 which is medium and a few months ago I came across a lovely dress that was size 46. I just couldn't resist it and decided to pair it with my cardigan and a wide belt to hide the fact that it was WAY too big. Luckily enough, I managed to do that and got so many compliments on my dress! It looked just like one of those vintage 1980s dresses with tight tops and loose bottoms :)
