Sparkly Heart

Dress: Ross, Heels: Rebecca Minkoff, Purse: Candie's, Brooch: DIY
Happy Tuesday everyone! The other day, I wore this outfit to the grocery store and just felt super cute. I've worn this dress plenty of times before, but this has to have be my favorite way I've worn it. This time around I paired it with a fun sequin heart brooch...sparkly things just make my heart happy. It's funny how the smallest detail can make a big impact. Do you have any accessories that paired with even the simplest outfit, take it to the next level? Oh and this was my first time going out into the "city" all by lonesome to take outfit photos! Exciting stuff right?!

Date Night Outfit

Dress worn as blouse: Marshalls, Skirt: Langford Market (similar), Heels: Rebecca Minkoff, Clutch: Thrifted
Ever since we got married, our weekends have been tied up with hanging out with either mine or Chris' family. We quickly decided that we needed a day for just ourselves. That's where date night came in. So every Wednesday me and Chris go out for dinner, and as of lately a movie. This is one of those date night outfits. Even if we do go to the movie theater which is a pretty casual place, I dress up anyway. Sequins, a skirt, and high heels is the perfect kind of outfit for me.
Happy Weekend girlies!!!

Black Sequins & Golden Hearts

Top: Target (old), Skirt: Target (old), Heels: Nine West, Necklace: Rue 21 (old)
I'm not sure why, but every time I wear a full skirt I have to do this "show off my skirt" pose. lol I'm calling it my signature thing. Oh and once I put on sequins, I like to pile on the sparkly things...this necklace is one of my favorites and the heels I'm in love with. If I wasn't afraid of wearing these heels out, I'd probably wear them everyday. Seriously. No joke. On another note, hello Friday :)  For some reason this week has felt like the longest and I'm soooo happy it's finally the weekend. And for once, we are all caught up on shows, there are no parties to go to, and we don't have any real plans. I think I might just catch up on sleep...it's going to be nice. Go out and party for me, ok?

Bring On the Good Times

Shirt: Target, Pants: Thrifted, Heels: Rebecca Minkoff, Clutch: Jenny Packham
Why does it seem like the weekend goes by so fast when you're having fun? My sis threw a party for my brother-in-law this past weekend to celebrate his retirement after 22 years of service in the military...it was a fun night. March has been a month of good times with more to come. My family celebrated my grandma's 86th birthday the first weekend of March, my brother-in-law's retirement Saturday, then my cousin is getting married this weekend, Chris' birthday is the weekend after, and finally my wedding!! I'm actually feeling quite blessed to have so many things to celebrate and be happy about. On another note this is the outfit I wore yesterday while running errands. Just something casual after partying into the early morning hours.

I Wear Short Shorts

Tank: Thrifted, Shorts: F21, Heels: Kimchi Blue, Clutch: Gifted
Summer is in full swing here and let me tell you it's hot hot hot. So what's a girl to do? Um, yeah pull out the short shorts lol. This is another movie date outfit from this past weekend and I just wanted to be fun and colorful. Cue the sparkly clutch and punchy pink shorts. We saw World War Z. I know you're probably wondering...did I fall asleep again?? That wouldn't even be possible...this movie was seriously amazing. Just a little secret but it may be my favorite movie this year.
