Remembering Jellybean

I'll never forget the day Chris brought Jellybean and his brothers home. They were so little and the cutest black fur balls ever. Chris rescued them after their mother had been killed and they must have been just a little over 2 weeks old. The next few weeks were spent with bottle feedings every so many hours, lots of playtime, and becoming fully in love with these 3 little ones. I normally wouldn't post something like this but I feel like maybe some of you have gotten to know Jellybean over the past few weeks. After work on Tuesday I found out that Jellybean passed away...and I'm still in tears. I think losing a pet is one of the hardest things...ever.

My favorite photo of us, I'm so glad you wanted to climb up that tin roof with me

Jellybean I don't think I've ever had a cat that was as smart as you, wanted more attention, or loved back as much as you did. Our little family walks won't be the same without you. I'm going to miss having you around during outfit photo shoots. They just won't be as fun without you sneaking into each frame. I'm going to miss the pose you and me take of you looking up to the camera stealing the spotlight from my shoes. I wish you could have been here longer. I've been missing you ever since I found out you were gone...I'll love you always.

Our last photo together <3

  6. awww :-( I cried for hours when my beautiful dog died last year, I don't think people realise how sad it is to lose a pet unless they have one themselves

  12. I am so sorry to hear about your Jellybean. Adorable photos and I completely agree... my cat Lacey passed away four years ago and sometimes I still cry thinking about it. She was my childhood pet for 16 years and it is hard to let go of a pet you've had for so long. And reading this post is actually making me quite sad... I will keep you in my thoughts as you go through this rough time.

    xoxo,
    Rachel

  14. Oh my god, I almost cried! I remeber what it was like when my cat died about 1.5 years ago after I had spent my whole childhood with him.I felt it was even harder than losing my grandparents. don't get this wrong, but my grandpa had cancer and my cat was perfectly fine, so....
It's just a cat takes up so much space in a family and when that space is suddenly empty you just notice it. a lot. you can be glad you still have two cats left (beautiful story, by the way) because getting Lilly definitely helped me a lot. now I'm really crying^^ I feel so sorry for you and Chris and Jellybean's brothers.

    Lots of love ♥

  21. Oooooh, I do know what you mean. Pets are such an important part of your life. I had a cat for 13 years (we still have three other ones, new ones) but I still miss her every day. I had her when I was 5 years old! Many years passed, but still want her back! xx
