Luxurious looking lace, embossed gold oxfords, and eye catching faux furs...payday can't come any faster. I've been trying to buy a gift here and there for family to get an early start on Christmas shopping. Yes, I'm already thinking about Christmas and my favorite holiday hasn't even passed yet! I suppose though an early gift to myself won't hurt.

Now that California is right around the corner, I've been trying to think of what I'll be packing with me. I think traveling is always a fun excuse to go shopping even if I don't really need anything new. These are some of my current favorite finds online. Actually I just showed Chris this dress and he said I should definitely buy it. When the husband approves of wish list items, you don't hesitate, so excuse me while I go make that pretty thing mine. Feels good to start the week off with a super cute dress heading my way.

the dress

 How pretty is this bold floral print against a neutral colored background? I think it's just the right kind of combination for a fun and fresh summer kind of dress. And I don't really want to get ahead of myself, but this dress would kind of be perfect for fall too. Got to love a good transition piece.

the boots

I feel like my closet consists of mainly black shoes. Even if nude plays a part, black is always there. For the past few weeks I've been looking for a pair of cute cutout brown booties. I mean they would look great with everything, cutoff shorts, lace dresses, cuffed skinnies...I could go on and on.

the accessory

These bobbies have been on my radar for awhile now. I feel like I'm always finding something on the ban.do site that I need to have. I just love how playful the girl talk bobbies are...they definitely would make any casual outfit so much more fun. Gimmie What I Want // February Wish List

Over the past week I've been on the search for a white or ivory dress for my bridal shower and bachelorette party...it's this weekend!!! Well of course I couldn't keep my search to just dresses and by the end of it all, I had my eye on several pieces that I wish I could make mine. 

 Here are my current favorite.

the dress

I kind of feel hard for the sweet lace dress. It has so many adorable details like the floral pattern on the bodice and a sheer back. What's not to love?

the shoes

I've always been a fan of the whole color block thing. I love this trio of mint, nude, and metallic silver.

the accessory

I feel like it's a must to have a fun/party kind of clutch in the closet. I have lots of sparkly glitter ones in my closet but this one covered in pearls is a lovely statement piece that feels elegant at the same time. Oh and the tassel...that's enough to make me want this.
