Dress: gift, Tights: Target, Heels: Rebecca Minkoff
This dress was a gift I received from my sister for my birthday and I was pretty excited when she gave it to me...who doesn't like a pretty little dress? I love that it's so lightweight making it perfect for summer and it was unexpectedly nice to add this color to my closet. For some reason I've always thought that an orange color just wouldn't look good on me because of the color of my hair but I actually really like it...so happy to be trying new things. Is there a color that you tend to stay away from?

I have zero orange pieces in my closet because I've never liked the color on me and only one yellow item. But I'm starting to like soft yellows, so I'm thinking of adding something butter-yellow to my closet.

Well, for me I was never a big fan of certain shades of green and brown but I think blogging has made me step out of my comfort zone a lot!
